Bio

Marcus Manderson (also known as “Da Fingaz”) is an accomplished musician, music producer, composer and audio engineer. Crafting music on a daily basis using a number of tools he has at hand, Marcus works to create inspiring musical journeys while also continuing to serve his passion for music. Layered with his background as a church musician, his musical influences from his home state of Virginia, as well as the music his parents often played while growing up (his mother played Gospel music and his father, being Jamaican, always had reggae music playing), Marcus can easily adapt and create in various music genres. Marcus strives to share his music with millions of people and to inspire them with his music. His musical approach has earned him opportunities to create music for Disney, Starz, Fox, Smithsonian, National Geographic, the Natural Resources Defense Council, museum exhibitions, apps, independent short films, and recording artists. Marcus currently uses Logic Pro as his main music production tool. He is based out of his home production studio in where he enjoys spending time with his biggest inspirations: his wife and their 2 children (son and daughter).
